Florida Mediation Services

At Battisti Mediations, we are dedicated to helping you resolve disputes with dignity, efficiency, and understanding. As an experienced attorney and certified mediator, Attorney Steven Battisti provides a balanced and neutral approach to guide individuals, families, and businesses through conflict resolution without the stress and expense of lengthy litigation.

Mediation is a process designed to resolve disputes, either before or after a lawsuit has been filed.

In this process, a neutral third party—often an attorney with expertise in the relevant field or a retired judge—acts as a mediator to assist the parties in reaching a resolution without requiring the court to decide the matter. If mediation is successful, the parties formalize their agreement by signing a mediated settlement. It’s also possible to resolve only some issues during mediation. In such cases, the parties may execute a partial mediation agreement, which helps narrow the remaining issues that must be decided by the court.

Attorney Steven Battisti

Steven Battisti graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 1997 with his Juris Doctor degree.  Soon after graduation, Steven worked as an insurance defense attorney for GEICO.  This experience handling all aspects of insurance claims, from personal injury to property damage, is what gives Steven his expert level of legal services.

Steven attended Jacksonville University for his undergraduate education, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics.  Before continuing his education at the University of Miami School of Law, Steven worked as a claims adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company, where he spent over seven years handling all aspects of insurance claims.  This offered him experience from the inside, which he has used throughout his career to successfully litigate against insurance companies.  Steven has a long history of helping consumers and businesses throughout Florida.
